Labor Day is approaching, which, in Pottstown, means the Volkswagens are coming. The annual L’oe Show brings VW Group car enthusiasts from all over the world to the downtown and beyond, with pop-up stores, special displays, free spectator entry, and much more. Event organizer, Jamie Orr, and his team have chosen the Pottstown Regional Public Library as the recipient of this year’s fundraising efforts.
“We are thrilled and grateful to be chosen as fundraising partner for the L’oe Show this year,” said Katelin Gladback, Executive Director of PRPL. “As most people know, we have been raising funds to fix the elevator in our historic building, so this opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time.” The Pottstown Public Regional Library serves the Borough of Pottstown and the Townships of Upper, Lower, and West Pottsgrove, providing programming and services in addition to book circulation and digital resources.
On Sunday, September 6th from 10-5, show attendees can visit the MEYLE North American booth at the corner of Hanover and High Streets to purchase a customized European style license plate for a donation of at least $20. All proceeds from the license plates will go to PRPL.
