Join the Friends of the Pottstown Public Library for our 2026 Board of Directors meetings! We gather at 10:45 AM on the third Monday of each month (barring holidays) at 500 E. High Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
Book Nook
The Book Nook, the Friends of the Library’s used bookstore, is located on main level of the library. It’s now in its new location in the alcove! In addition to a selection of hardcovers, paperbacks, videos, and puzzles, the Book Nook also offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a variety of gift items.
We thank the friends for helping purchase the black desk chairs located throughout the main floor.

Support the Friends
Selling books is our primary way to raise funds for the Library! You can support our mission directly through:
- Direct Contributions: either online or in-person
- Gently Used Books: We appreciate any and all donations of gently used books to stock the Book Nook and our Backdoor Used Book Sales. (Please note: we cannot use books that are in a state of disrepair).
- Redner’s Sales Slips: Participate in the Save-a-Tape program every time you shop at Redner’s. Just drop off your receipts at the library!
- Donate Your Time: We are always looking for friendly faces to volunteer in the Book Nook! You can also help by setting up and breaking down our Backdoor Book Sales.
