Check out https://paforward.org/ for more information about PA Forward® and its star program.

Starting in 2023, Pottstown Regional Public Library is working towards earning our star designations. On April 14th we received Bronze Star status and on May 9th we received our Silver Star status for 2 out of the 5 literacies. Two more literacies were filed on June 5th, 2023.  We completed our last Silver Star status on September 4th, 2023, and we achieved Gold Star status on September 12th 2023!

The benefits of PA Forward® allows us to ensure our collection development and programs in the five literacies (Basic, Information, Civic and Social, Health, & Financial click each literacy for a PDF about them). These literacies ensure that we are making library services available to all Pennsylvanians.
