The library is closed Saturday May 25th, and Monday May 27th in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday.

Support the library by purchasing a duck ticket! $5 per ticket, and there are 100+ prizes, Tickets are available at the Main Desk until June 15th. 

The Duck Race is held Thursday July 4th at 3pm during the GoFourth! Celebration!

Summer Reading Pre-Registration Now Open

Adventure Begins at your library! Pre-registration for our summer reading programs opens today, and the challenge starts June 1st, with programming starting June 1st for children, and June 4th for adults. 

The challenge ends August 3rd for Babies, Children, & Teens, with their Reading Challenge Completion Party (Invitation Only) on August 10th. The Adult challenge continues until August 31st.

TAX INFORMATION

Tax Forms now available

We now have the 1040 Tax Forms and Instruction Booklets available at Pottstown Library. We will have the forms available on a table by the passport office. We do not have PA Tax Forms and Rent Rebate Books at this time. If you need State Tax Forms or Rent Rebate books, try contacting your local state representative.  Or checking out the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue website.

How is the Pottstown Regional Public Library Funded?
The Pottstown Regional Public Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit receiving public funds from the State of Pennsylvania, the Borough of Pottstown, Lower Pottsgrove Township, Upper Pottsgrove Township, and West Pottsgrove Township.  Other sources of income include fundraising, corporate support, donations from civic groups and private donations.

The Pottstown Regional Public Library sends out a variety of appeal letters throughout the year. If you did not receive the most recent letter, you may print out the 2023 Summer Appeal Letter and mail your contribution to the Pottstown Regional Public Library, 500 East High Street, Pottstown PA 19464.
