Unfortunately, our elevator is out of service, impeding the use of the full library for many patrons with accessibility issues. We’ve started a fundraising campaign to raise the $150,000 for the repair and we’ve raised about 30% of that amount so far.
You can help us reach our goal and get the elevator back in working order with a gift here: GIVE TO FIX THE ELEVATOR AT PRPL
While we are working diligently behind the scenes to get our elevator replaced as fast as possible, please be aware that, for the foreseeable future, we will only have access to our upper and lower floors via the stairs.
If you are planning to attend a program or event that takes place on the balcony level or in the youth department and you have accessibility concerns, please ask! We will do whatever we can and make accommodations to ensure you are able to attend your public library’s free programming.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the temporary closure of our Balcony level, the following Adult Services programs will be relocated.
